How far in advance should I book my appointment?
We recommend booking one week in advance for weekday appointments, and two weeks in advance for weekend appointments. However, please feel free to call for a same day or last minute appointment as well - it's always worth a try!
What is your cancellation policy?
We reserve all appointments with a credit or debit card. We request that you make cancellations at least 24 hours prior to your appointment. For individual appointments or groups of two people, any cancellations made less than 24 hours will be charged 50% of the scheduled service. No-shows will be charged for the full service.
For individual packages consisting of three or more services, or for groups of three or more people, we have a 48-hour cancellation policy. Depending on group size we may request a deposit for larger parties scheduling multiple services.
What form of payments do you accept? Do you accept gratuities?
We accept all major credit and debit cards or cash. We do not accept checks or pre-paid credit cards.
Gratuity is optional, yet very appreciated. You are able to add a tip on a card or use our cash envelopes that will go directly to your service provider.
With large group parties, we do reserve the right to include gratuity on packages.
Do you accept SpaFinder, SpaWeek or SpaWish Cards?
As of September 8th, 2017 we no longer accept these gift cards.
What should I wear for my massage?
You can wear whatever is most comfortable for you and disrobe to your comfort level. If you want your hips and low back worked on, we recommend not wearing anything, but it is up to you. Your therapist will drape you professionally.
What is the difference between Swedish massage and a deep tissue?
A Swedish massage consists of long and relaxing strokes to help relax the muscles, improve circulation and promote health and stress relief. A deep tissue massage focuses more on specific trigger points throughout the body to help loosen muscles and flush out lactic acid from a sore, aching body. We do not recommend deep tissue for your first massage. Please consult with your therapist to determine what your goals and needs are. There is a small up-charge for deep tissue.
How should I prepare for a first time wax?
For any first time wax it is fine to take ibuprofen 15 minutes prior to your service to help ease any discomfort. Also make sure the hair is between 1/4" and 1/2" long so we are able to remove the hair completely and less painfully. We do offer aproduct called Tend Skin to help reduce irritation and ingrown hairs following the service.
I am pregnant, can I receive a massage or use the whirlpool bath?
We have a special pregnancy pillow that enables you to comfortably lie on your stomach. We will ask you to fill out a prenatal release form when you come in for your prenatal massage. Most women who are experiencing a pregnancy with no complications are able to have a prenatal massage. As always, you should confirm with your doctor if you are unsure whether or not you should receive one. As for the whirlpool, you are in control of the temperature, which can be adjusted for your comfort. Again, you should always check with your doctor if you are unsure regarding these services.
Do you offer any group specials?
We offer custom packages to suit each person's needs. Each guest can choose 3 or more services and receive 10% off the total. We also offer private parties depending on the group size. We recommend calling a few weeks in advance if looking to set up a larger group.
